What is a chiropractor?

A chiropractor is a doctor who specializes in detecting and correcting misalignments in the spine and in extremities such as shoulders, knees, and feet.

What are the benefits of chiropractic care?

Our nervous system controls every system in our body. When our spine is misaligned, it can lead to physical discomfort and diagnoses such as low back pain, neck pain, hip pain, and other physical pains. Chiropractic care can help the body naturally correct and heal these aches and pains. Additionally, chiropractic treatments have also helped people with headaches, digestive problems, sleep issues, anxiety, vertigo, asthma, and a host of other health issues.

How does chiropractic work?

Chiropractic treatments work by finding spinal and extremity joint misalignments and adjusting them back into the correct position. When that happens, the body is able to restore proper motion so that there is no longer nerve pressure and interference. This allows the body to heal the way it is naturally designed to do.

As the saying goes, “God needs no help, just no interference.”

I work with anyone who is motivated to get well and stay well! Many of my patients have become frustrated by the medical system and are seeking out answers about the root of their pain and/or their chronic medical problems. I’ve treated patients ranging in age from infants to people in their 90’s.

What types of patients do you work with?

Yes! Sometimes we find on your exam that you need more than just physical adjustments to resolve your chief health complaint. For example, a gallbladder that is inflamed can refer pain to the right shoulder. I can adjust your shoulder and make it feel better, but that won’t always get to the root cause. At times, your health issue requires a nutritional and supplemental approach. We carry professional grade, whole-food supplements in the office and may recommend they be incorporated into your care.

Do you utilize nutrition and supplements?

Research states that for every year that you’ve had a chronic health problem, the body will need about a month to get well and reverse the dysfunction. For example, if you’ve had back pain on and off for five years, expect your body to take about five months to heal with chiropractic treatments. With that said, if I can impact change in your body on the first visit, I know that I can help your body heal.

How long will it take for me to see results?

Our office accepts both insurance and cash. We are in-network with seven major insurance companies: Anthem/Blue Cross Blue Shield, Aetna, Cigna, Fallon, United, Harvard Pilgrim, and Tri-West. We accept both co-pay plans and deductible plans.

Unfortunately, because Mass Health and Medicare have limited Chiropractic benefits, we don’t participate with them at this time. However, we would be happy to see you at our self-pay rate, which would be more affordable to you than going through Mass Health or Medicare.

We live in a wild time. It is always cheaper to be healthy than sick in the long-term.

How can I pay for my care?
